National Horse Show Association of America Announces New Board Member and Officers

New York, NY - April 23, 2009 - The National Horse Show Association of America, Limited (NHSAA) is pleased to announce the addition of a new member to their Board of Directors and changes to their list of officers. John Madden, respected horseman and Organizing Committee Chairman of the Syracuse Invitational Sporthorse Tournament, has joined the board. His term will be up in 2012. The other members listed are all currently on the Board of Directors.

The Class of 2010 Board of Directors are:

Eugene R. Mische

The NHSAA has also named new executive officers. Eugene R. Mische is now the Chairman Emeritus, while Jane F. Clark will serve as the Chairman of the Board. Mason Phelps, Jr. is the President, and the Vice President is Louis Jacobs. Leo Conroy serves as the second Vice President, while William Berman is the Secretary and Allan Shore is the Treasurer.

All of the new board members and executive officers look forward to making this year's National Horse Show, in its 126th year, the best ever. It will be held in conjunction with the Syracuse Invitational Sporthorse Tournament on October 28-November 1, 2009, in Syracuse, NY.
