Lexington, KY – April 24, 2017 - The National Horse Show in Lexington, Kentucky is thrilled to welcome Canadian Pacific (CP) as the title sponsor of the CP National Horse Show for the 4th consecutive year. CP is widely regarded as an industry leader, always providing excellent and reliable service, and routinely helps their customers become more competitive and grow their businesses with faster, more reliable transit times.

“The National Horse Show is one of the most prestigious and historical equestrian events in North America and consistently ranks as one of the top shows in the United States,” said Keith Creel, CP President & Chief Executive Officer. “Their commitment to excellence echoes our own focus on being the best in class. We are delighted to continue our participation as the title sponsor of the 2017 edition.” “The National Horse Show is honored to once again be the recipient of the support of Canadian Pacific,” said Mason Phelps Jr., President of the National Horse Show. “We deeply value our ongoing relationship with CP and Keith Creel, as their commitment to high level equestrian competition is second to none. Riders from all over the world will compete for a chance to qualify for the 2018 Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping Finals in Paris, France the following spring.

With $810,000 in prize money offered, this year’s show has been designated a CSI4* show by the FEI. Amateur-Owner and U25 Jumpers will compete for a cool $130,000 in total winnings.

Founded in New York in 1883, the National Horse Show is America's oldest indoor horse show and is firmly established as a major fixture on the national and international sports and social event calendars.
